Artsplosure - The Raleigh Arts Festival

Raleigh’s renaissance is here! Immerse yourself in the emerging art scene of the Triangle with three days of art exhibits, markets, musical performances, and kid-friendly activities. We recommend exploring their website before attending, because of the quantity of events and various locations.
Cold War Kids Concert

Red Hat Amphitheatre has been scheduling free live shows of popular artists for a few years now, and it’s no surprise they’ve picked another hot indie band. Always incredibly popular, attendees have been known to line up hours before the show starts. Don’t worry though - even if you’re not at the front, the size of the venue allows you a great view from any vantage point!
Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo

Stuff your face with the best artisanal and locally-based food trucks in the Triangle. Featuring over 50 food trucks from around the state, you and your family may have a hard time deciding which to choose! Local favorites include grilled cheese connoisseurs, American Meltdown, and Asian-inspired street food, Chirba Chirba.
Midtown Beach Music Series

Do you love shag dancing? How about beach music? Grab a friend and make your way over to North Hills for the night and hear some of the best bands of the Carolinas. Make an evening of it with dinner at local restaurants like Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Cowfish or Bonefish Grill.

Pickin’ In The Plaza

Located on Fayetteville Street, this is a summer event series of bluegrass concerts. Each event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and features a variety of food trucks depending on which date you attend. Visit their website for dates and featured artists.
